Mission Georgia Master's Commission (MGMC) exists to help emerging young adult leaders who possess a passionate commitment to Christ Rediscover, Redefine, and Revolutionize church and what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Christ. Our goal is that students cultivate a real, growing, and deep relationship with God as they develop and explore effective ways of connecting faith and life. MGMC is a year-long, residential program for the Christian disciple seeking hands-on experience, intensive character development, and relevant ministry training.
MGMC seeks to disciple and deploy young adults who are passionately committed to Christ's cause of reconnecting people to God, redeeming mankind, and restoring local communities to reflect the Kingdom of God. This means engaging all areas of culture - church, government, social services, education, business, arts, entertainment, and media - to serve as the next generation of church, business and community leaders. MGMC seeks to develop innovative and creative ideas that are shaping the future of the church and fulfilling the purposes of Jesus Christ in our world.
MGMC is a year-long residential program that is a total lifestyle commitment for the Christian disciple seeking hands-on experience, intensive character development, and relevant ministry training. Mission Georgia also offers fully accredited college classes through a partnership with Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA.
Mission Georgia MC is NOT a drama team; HOWEVER... drama is one of the many forms of communication we use to tell our story and share the Gospel.
Mission Georgia MC is NOT a college; HOWEVER... we partner with Truett-McConnell College to offer fully accredited degrees as a foundation of quality academics in a culture that values education.
Mission Georgia MC is NOT a recovery program for troubled teens and young adults seeking to "get their act together"; HOWEVER... we openly confess our faults, failures, and fractures because we believe that the broken pieces of our lives that once buried us now form the mountain that God uses us to speak from.
Mission Georgia MC is NOT a hyped up Youth Group or Christian program for fanatical young believers; HOWEVER... we strive to build and maintain a deeply intimate and authentic community. We promote an environment of love, acceptance, and forgiveness available in Christ, and we desire to demonstrate to the world what it means to be the Body of Christ.
Mission Georgia MC is NOT a replacement for church or a place for those fed up with church; INSTEAD... we are securely embedded within a local church and desire to help students rediscover, redefine, and revolutionize the church in today's culture.
Mission Georgia MC is NOT a missions team or traveling ministry team; HOWEVER... we realize that America is now the fourth largest mission field in the world, and we take our message into cities, schools, churches and other nations while intentionally training and equipping our students to live, work, and serve as missionaries in their own community and throughout the world.
